These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Signital, a digital signage service provided by Dacoda ehf ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

Signital is owned and operated by Dacoda ehf, a company registered in Iceland (ID No. 5401024060), with a registered address at Hafnargata 55, 230 Reykjanesbær, Iceland.

2. Using Our Service

By using Signital, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Service Availability

Signital provides a cloud-based platform to manage and display digital content. While we strive for maximum uptime, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

4. Billing and Payments

• Subscriptions: Paid features are billed on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your provided payment method for the applicable fees.
• Billing Management: We use Recurly to manage our recurring billing and subscription cycles.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed via Braintree (a PayPal service). All sensitive financial data is handled by our PCI-compliant partners.
• Refunds: All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by Icelandic law.

5. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all media and content you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display this content solely to provide the service to you.

6. Intellectual Property

The Signital platform, software, and branding are the exclusive property of Dacoda ehf. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of our service without express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Icelandic law, Dacoda ehf shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages. We are not responsible for the failure of third-party hardware (TVs, media players, or routers) used to run our application.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Iceland.
