Signital + BrightSign: A New Integration That Makes Digital Signage Even Easier

We have some exciting news to share: Signital is now officially a CMS partner in the BrightSign Partner Gallery. If you use BrightSign’s industry-leading media players for your digital signage network, you can now choose Signital as the Partner App when you set a player up in BrightAuthor:Connected. This means no custom scripts, no manual configuration, and no technical headaches.

This partnership is more than just a new logo on our site. It is a practical step forward for any business that wants to scale their digital signage quickly and reliably without involving a dedicated IT team.

What Is the BrightSign Partner Gallery?

If you are already familiar with the world of digital signage, you have likely heard of BrightSign. They are the global leader in media players, powering displays in airports, retail stores, and restaurants worldwide. Their hardware is famous for being "bulletproof" in 24/7 environments.

The BrightSign Partner Gallery is a curated list of CMS platforms that BrightSign recognizes as plug-and-play compatible. Now that Signital is on that list, the setup is short: sign in to BrightAuthor:Connected, open Setup, and under Publishing Mode choose Partner App and Signital - Digital Signage. Add the network details, write the setup to a microSD card and boot the player. It connects, loads Signital and shows a 5-character pairing code within minutes.

Why This Matters for Your Operations

This partnership was built with one goal in mind: making digital signage easier to deploy at any scale. The integration handles the heavy lifting, allowing you to take a brand-new player and get it running with a microSD card and a network connection. You don’t need to write custom scripts or call in a technician; the workflow is designed to be accessible to anyone.

Whether you are managing a single display or rolling out 500 screens across a national retail chain, you need a setup that is fast and consistent. Save the setup to your library in BrightAuthor:Connected and every further player gets the same configuration, with automatic BrightSignOS updates switched on. Once a player is paired, Restart and Identify work from its display page in the portal, and the Signital player on it updates itself. It eliminates the "configuration chaos" of mismatched settings and firmware versions, replacing frustration with a streamlined, modern workflow.

Reliability Meets Simplicity

At Signital, our mission has always been to make digital signage powerful without making it complicated. We believe that great tools should work without a steep learning curve and that technology should never slow you down.

Partnering with BrightSign helps us deliver on that mission for businesses that want dedicated, professional hardware without compromising on flexibility. By joining the BrightSign ecosystem, we are offering our users an enterprise-grade hardware option that feels lightweight and easy to manage from our unified cloud dashboard.

What Is Next for Signital Users?

If you are already using Signital, this opens up a new, world-class hardware option for your network. If you are a BrightSign user looking for a CMS that is modern and affordable, Signital is now a native part of your setup flow. From unboxing to live content, the process is now faster than ever before.

We know what it is like to manage a growing signage network. You need tools that scale, but you also need them to be intuitive. With Signital and BrightSign working together, you get world-class hardware paired with a modern CMS and zero unnecessary steps in between.

Inside the Redesigned Signital Portal: What Changed and Why

16 Sept 2026

We have rebuilt the Signital portal from the sign-in page to the display page. The nouns are the same: displays, channels, playlists, media and widgets. What changed is how quickly you can answer the two questions every screen operator asks: is everything online, and what is each screen playing? Here is a walk through

Displays, Channels and Playlists: Which One Do You Need?

14 Sept 2026

Most questions we get in support come down to one thing: where should this content go? Signital keeps the answer small. There are three containers, each solves a different problem, and once you see the pattern you stop thinking about it. First, the path every item takes. You upload media or configure a widget. You add

How to Schedule a Menu Board: Time of Day, Weekdays and Take Over

11 Sept 2026

A menu board is the simplest signage there is, and it is where scheduling earns its keep. Breakfast until 11, lunch until 14, the evening menu after that, and a promotion whenever nothing else is due. Here is how to build exactly that in Signital, and the handful of rules that make schedules behave. Always Show or Sche
